A year ago, I found myself among 20 young African leaders, invited by UM6P University to brainstorm the creation of a new leadership initiative. Funny enough, when we first gathered, none of us really knew why we were there.
We kicked off with an introduction to the “Theory of Change” by the brilliant Pr. Lex Paulson, followed by sessions of collective brainstorming. I still remember how intense and thought-provoking the discussions were—it felt like a taste of what high-level dialogues at the African Union might be like 😆. The passion in the room was undeniable; everyone was fully committed to delivering something meaningful.
One year after, that initial idea has blossomed into a thriving community of over 140 young African leaders from across the globe. I’m incredibly proud to have been part of this journey and to have worked with the strategic team that helped bring life ✨Bridge Africa ✨.
But more than the initiative itself, it’s the connections I’ve made along the way that truly stand out. I’ve had the privilege of meeting so many inspiring, driven people who I’m now fortunate to call peers.
As a young leader advocating for sustainable leadership across Africa, this journey has been everything I hoped for—and more.
The work can’t stop™
